About Me :)

Hi! I’m Ally (government name: Allison, as you’ll see in my final realized project), and I’m a sophomore studying Creative Writing and Literature at the University of Michigan. I’m originally from San Francisco (“If you're going to San Francisco / Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair”~), and will not shut up about it. You can probably find me reading, ogling at nature, or badly singing and mediocre-ly dancing (when I’m alone) on any given day. I love cheese and chronically crave my grandpa’s Korean food when I’m away from home (out-of-state student things). My writing interests include… pretty much anything that’s loose-ruled and allows creative freedom. Originally, I entered college thinking I would only ever write fiction, but as I learn more about different multimodal genres and a rebellion against genre itself, my biases are being challenged and changed. I want to dip my toe into every genre, hybrids of genres, and create my own genres if I can!
